Position

A partner in Kirkland’s Environmental Transactional Practice Group, Toby has successfully managed the environmental aspects of hundreds of corporate and real estate transactions spanning a diverse range of businesses, industries and properties in the U.S. and internationally. His practice focuses on conducting environmental due diligence for target companies and properties, managing environmental consultants to identify and quantify known and potential liabilities, counseling clients on environmental liability and risk allocation issues, negotiating environmental provisions of transaction documents, assisting in procurement of environmental insurance and other risk-mitigating solutions, and managing post-closing resolution of identified environmental issues.
