Position

Kelly Malone is a Partner in King & Spalding’s Singapore office and a member of the firm's Energy and Global Transactions Practice Groups. He specializes in cross-border project development/financing and has advised / represented national Governments, State-owned utilities, project sponsors, international consortia, Financial Development Institutions and export credit agencies during the development, privatization, sale, acquisition and/or financing of more than 50 energy (and other) infrastructure projects located in 22 countries.

Building on its leading presence in oil and gas (including LNG), the practice has elevated its standing in power and renewables over the last few years. He and the team advised PNG Power, the state-owned power utility of Papua New Guinea, during the competitive bidding for and award of the right to build, own and operate the Naoro Brown hydropower project.
