Career

Qian Hu advises financial institutions, investment funds and corporations on the regulatory and transactional aspects of OTC derivatives, structured repos, securities lending transactions and investment products. She has strong experience in equity derivatives, including strategic acquisition, disinvestment, hedging, share buyback, portage, shareholding financing and leveraged ESOP, and has been the lead lawyer on some recent high-profile cross-border strategic equity transactions in France and in Europe. She is also active in ESG derivatives, commodities derivatives, as well as VPPA (virtual power purchase agreement) negotiations and carbon credit trading. Qian has broad experience in large debt restructuring involving structured finance.
