Bruno Cuellar’s practice area focuses on civil and commercial judicial litigation and arbitration, in which he has significant experience in ordinary and collections proceedings, with specialization in recovery of delinquent portfolios.

He likewise has significant expertise in complex negotiations, mediation and conciliation processes.

His day-to-day practice involves providing advice on all types of situations arising in the business relationships of local and international companies.

In parallel, he represents clients –primarily companies– in complex labor proceedings before the Courts of Justice and the Ministry of Labor, and represents local and multinational clients in all legal aspects of their labor relations.

He likewise advises companies on the various facets of their employment relations, including design and planning of personnel hiring and dismissal policies and job restructurings.

Bruno has broad experience in analysis of current legal provisions, geared to identifying benefits in the interest of his clients.

Before joining FERRERE he worked with a prestigious law firm in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure at Universidad Autónoma Gabriel Rene Moreno in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

In 2022, the firm also noted a signification number of litigation matters related to the agribusiness sector. Managing partner Diego Villarroel leads the arbitration and litigation team, and senior associate Bruno Cuellar has a broad knowledge of dispute resolution procedures, with a focus on civil and labour litigation.

From its offices in Santa Cruz, La Paz and Cochabamba, Ferrere‘s labour and employment team advises clients on a full range of labour and social security matters, such as employment agreements, due diligence, personnel hiring structures, compensation policy design, and compliance. The group has continued to expanded its labour practice to incorporate immigration matters, restructurings and all aspects of labour litigation, including union disputes and negotiations. Senior associate Pablo Heredia heads the team, assisting with all labour matters, including the design and implementation of hiring policies and the implications of corporate restructurings and liquidations, as well as representing clients in conciliations and arbitrations with trade unions. Bruno Cuellar, senior associate, provides further support and represents clients in labour disputes before judicial courts and the Ministry of Labour.
