Career
Maryeling joined the Arias team in July 2012. In January 2015, she was promoted to Associate Lawyer. She has advised national and international clients on corporate and business matters, competition and compliance, consumer protection, data privacy, administrative issues, labor matters, electronic markets, among others. During her tenure at the firm, she has actively participated in legal due diligence processes for the acquisition and financing of various projects in different regulated and non-regulated economic sectors in the country, as well as in the structuring of guarantees.
Additionally, she has provided guidance on the establishment, closure, and liquidation of companies, contracting, structuring, acquisitions, and mergers of corporations, limited liability companies, non-profit organizations, and foreign branches in Nicaragua. She has also assisted in obtaining licenses, registrations, and permits for project execution and real estate transfers.
Finally, Maryeling has been involved in reviewing the draft “Leasing Law” and the “Legal Digest on Financial Matters,” which are reviewed and/or approved by the National Assembly.
