Josh Cook is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group where he specializes in representing emerging growth companies, venture capital firms, and private equity investment funds. Josh provides legal guidance to companies at each stage of the corporate lifecycle, counseling them through strategic decisions and coaching prior to incorporation, prospective investor introductions, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, employment matters, commercial contracts, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Josh represents a wide variety of technology companies from the consumer internet, software, blockchain, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading incubators, seed funds, and venture capital firms. A recognized expert on early stage venture capital, Josh frequently speaks on trends and practices in angel and venture capital investing.
