Position
Nick focuses on representing corporations and individuals in high-stakes civil litigation, white collar crime, and regulatory and securities enforcement, including internal investigations, False Claims Act cases, special committee representations, and compliance counseling. He has significant experience handling FCPA matters with both DOJ and the SEC and has conducted sensitive cross-border internal investigations around the globe.

Career
From 2018-2021, Nick served as United States Attorney for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, where, as the chief federal law enforcement officer for the most populous federal district in the country, he represented the United States in all criminal, civil, national security and tax matters. In that capacity, he oversaw some of the most significant public corruption, fraud, money laundering, cybercrime, economic espionage, and civil rights cases in the country.

In New York, seasoned litigator Reed Brodsky regularly handles internal investigations and enforcement proceedings for a broad range of high-profile corporate and individual clients. In November 2022, Gustav Eyler rejoined the firm in DC, having previously served as Director of the Consumer Protection Branch at the DOJ. Formerly part of the practice leadership, Randy Mastro left the practice in August 2022. At the beginning of 2023, Robert Hur and Joel Cohen left the firm. The firm’s DC office welcomed former US District Judge for the State of Maryland George Hazel to its ranks in March 2023.
