Michael Kontos is the Managing Partner of Walker Kontos. His expertise principally lies in corporate and project finance; energy; M&A; capital markets; banking and complex real estate transactions. Michael’s reputation as the go to lawyer for highly complex matters in the legal industry has seen him act in pioneering transactions for a wide array of both local and international clients in different sectors. Most recently Michael advised SBM Bank (Kenya) Limited in the acquisition of certain assets and the assumption of certain liabilities from and of Chase Bank (Kenya) Limited (In Receivership).
