Career

Alberto Büll joined Ulhôa Canto in 2013 and became a partner in 2019. He concentrates his practice on the power sector, infrastructure, and project finance. He advises power sector agents and investors on myriad regulatory matters (including administrative litigation before ANEEL and state agencies), power sector auctions, mergers and acquisitions, project development, and financings. He also has extensive project finance, project development or M&A experience across a variety of industries, including the power sector (hydroelectric, thermal, wind, and solar power projects), ports, transportation, public lighting, and sanitation. Alberto has also advised clients on a broad range of finance and investment matters, including corporate finance transactions, equity and debt offerings, investments in regulated funds, restructuring and refinancing transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions both in regulated and non-regulated sectors.

He was an international associate at the São Paulo and New York offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP between 2010 and 2011.
