Career
João Marcus de Melo Rigoni joined Ulhôa Canto in 2008 and became a partner in 2019. He is a specialist in tax law, with focus on consulting and merger & acquisition.
He worked at the tax consulting departments of Ernst & Young Brazil, from 2004 to 2005, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Brazil, from 2005 to 2008. He is the author of “A Brazilian View on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting: An Alternative Path” and “The International Tax Regime in the 21st Century – The Emergence of a Third Stage”, both articles published in Intertax (a Kluwer Law Journal).
