Career

Alexandre is a specialist in greenfield and brownfield projects, as well as transactions for all infrastructure sectors, including, construction, energy, oil and gas, shipping, logistics (airports, highways, railways, ports and urban mobility), sanitation, mining and steel.

A former international associate at Milbank LLP in London, during the span of his career Alexandre has participated in several prominent infrastructure transactions in emerging markets and various deals of the year, including in Latin America, Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East.

Alexandre is a member of several associations, such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Society of Construction Law (SCL), Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Industry (ABDIB) and Brazilian Institute of Construction Law (IBDIC).

He was also a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Currently, Alexandre is guest professor and coordinator for courses covering International and Contract Law at other renowned universities, collaborating frequently with international publications. He has authored numerous books and more than thirty academic publications that have been cited in court and regulatory agency decisions.
