Solon practice focuses on labor and social security matters, particularly labor consulting and representation of clients in negotiations with unions. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the Asociación Iberoamericana de Derecho del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social and the Superior Council of the Federation of Labor Relations for the State of São Paulo (known by the Portuguese acronym, FIESP).

He is a coordinator professor at the Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas.
