Lianne Craig

London Managing Partner, Lianne Craig, has been a driving force behind the significant growth of the firm’s Commercial Disputes team (she was Practice Head until the end of 2021) and the firm’s developments into the Spanish market. She was recognised for her achievements in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 2021.

Over her 20+ years in practice, Lianne has developed a broad domestic and international disputes practice with in-depth expertise in complex commercial and competition matters across a range of sectors. She has considerable experience acting in multi-party/group claims and has carved a niche in managing large, often challenging, financial services disputes. Lianne was instructed on the Trappit litigation in 2020 and continues to play a strategic role on that case. Lianne also leads the firm’s business development activities in Spain and Portugal, carrying out a significant amount of work for Spanish clients.  Lianne also continues to advise clients on commercial disputes e.g. arising out of private equity investments.

As a member of our Environmental & HR practice group, Lianne is a strong proponent of the firm’s pro bono endeavours and has taken on instructions in matters concerning climate change and the environment.

In January 2022, the International Bar Association appointed Lianne as an Officer (Jurisdiction Co-Ordinator) of the IBA’s Class Actions Committee and in 2023 she was asked to join the Steering Committee of the IBA’s Law Firm Management Committee.  Lianne is a member of the Steering Committee for the Cambridge Forum on European Collective Redress.
