Recognised by multiple legal and industry publications for his pragmatic and client-oriented approach, Andrej Kormuth has extensive experience guiding clients on the most innovative and significant Middle Eastern and African deals, including the latest wave of Middle Eastern power, water and waste water deals. Significant matters Andrej has recently led include the Al Kharsaah 800.15 MW solar PV IPP and the Facility E IWPP both in Qatar as well as the REPDO 2 solar PV IPP in Saudi Arabia.

Having been resident in both Dubai and Doha since 2011 and prior to that working in South Africa, Andrej possesses a deep and varied pool of deal experience across the MENA region.  He frequently navigates clients through complex cross-sector issues, including with respect to corporate project structuring, infrastructure M&As and IPOs, dispute mediation and resolution, regulatory structuring, and procurement tender programmes.
