Mrs. Camila Mendes Vianna Cardoso is managing partner of Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados, a traditional Brazilian law firm established in Rio de Janeiro in 1932. Mrs. Cardoso has longstanding experience in litigation, with emphasis on shipping matters, acting for shipyards, shipowners, charterers, insurers, P&I clubs and transportation agents. Camila has advised on many financing projects of construction, loans for building vessels and shipyards, private port recent projects in Brazil and corporate restructure. Accredited international publications such as Chambers and Partners, Legal500 and Who’s Who have recognized Camila as Leading Lawyer in her field.


Mrs. Camila Mendes Vianna Cardoso was a trainee at Baker & Mackensie and after graduation joined the office Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados where presently she is managing partner. Mrs. Cardoso is Vice President of Maritime and Port Law Committee of the Brazilian Center Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA), Member of International Law and Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration Law Committees of the Brazilian Lawyers’ Institute (IAB) and Member of Ship Finance Security International Working Group of the Comité Maritime International (CMI).
