Position
Koen De Winter is a Partner in the Antwerp office. Koen has gained robust experience in all kinds of domestic and international commercial disputes and has tried high-profile cases in all major courts in Belgium. He has a particular interest in all contentious and non-contentious aspects of intellectual property including trade marks, copyright, patents, designs and related issues. His practice includes advising, drafting and litigation on a large variety of commercial matters, including agency, distribution, supply and IP-related agreements and business arrangements. He also has a keen interest in trade secrets, advertising and fair trading practices.

Koen joined Baker McKenzie in November 2002. He was admitted to the Antwerp bar in 1981.

He is a member of the Arbitration Chamber of Commerce in Antwerp; the International Trademark Association (INTA); the Benelux Association for Trademarks and Design Law (BMM); the Licensing Executive Society International (LESI); the Association of European Trademark Owners MARQUES, and the Alumni Association of the College of Europe.
