Renata Campetti Amaral has been chosen by the Award Law Review (Prêmio Análise Advocacia) as one of the most respected lawyers in the area of Environmental Law in Brazil. She is partner of the Environmental and Consumer Law Group and member of the Global Climate Change Group, at Baker McKenzie. She is a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS and UNISINOS. Ms. Renata Campetti Amaral was born in Porto Alegre (RS) on June 30, 1977. She graduated in 2000 from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica Law School and joined the firm in 2002. She is specialist in International Law from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and obtained a Master degree in 2001 from the University of Texas School of Law. She was a professor of International Private Law at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica. Currently, she is a professor of Environmental Law at the Federal University of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Verbo Jurídico and UNISINOS – RS.
