Sette is a founding partner of Azevedo Sette Advogados. He draws upon more than 50 years’ experience in complex and strategic matters in compliance, anti-corruption, international and commercial negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project finance and privatization.

Sette was an external consultant at UN – United Nations, president of the International Chamber of Commerce of Brazil (CIC-BR), a member of the Advisory Board of The Council of the Americas, a member of the Board of CONSEA FIESP (São Paulo Industries’ Federation Board of Advanced and Strategic Studies), and a member of the BIAC – Business Industries Advisory Council of the OCDE, Paris, France. Partner is author of four legal books, two published in the United States.


LL.B. from Universidade de Brasília Law School, he was admitted to practice in Brasília, Brazil, in 1996. He has specialization in Public Law and Constitutional at the same institution. He is specialized in International Negotiation at OEA – Organization of American States and Master’s degree in International and Comparative Law at Cornell University, EUA (LL.M.).
