Extensive experience of appearing in the Employment Tribunals throughout the UK. Also has a strong interest in employment litigation in the Scottish Courts.

Jennifer has specialised in Employment law since December 1997 when she joined the leading (Chambers and Legal 500 Band 1 rated) Edinburgh employment niche firm Mackay Simon. She has undertaken advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and EAT in both jurisdictions since qualifying in 1998. Jennifer was until 2013 the Secretary of the Scottish Employment Law Group affiliated with the Law Society of Scotland and remains as a Committee Member. Jennifer’s corporate clients include media and publishing businesses, global financial services businesses, a national charity and law firms.

She is a member of the Employment Tribunal Users Group and the Employment Appeal Users Group. She was a Trustee of the Citizens Advice Bureau (City of London) from 2008 – 2010.
