Mr.  Ferro focuses on Dispute Resolution (Litigation) and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law.

He regularly represents local and international clients of different industries in complex litigation throughout all the procedural stages of the proceedings and at different local courts (including the Argentine Supreme Court). Furthermore, his preventing advice requires his active and coordinated interaction with attorneys from our other practices areas, such as Corporate and Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Energy and Antitrust


Mr. Ferro joined the firm  in 2004 and he became Partner in 2014.

Mr. Ferro is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires.



Ferro graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1999, with honors.

In 2008 he obtained a Master in Business Law at the Universidad de San Andres (argentina). He participated in the XXIII National Congress of Procedural Law (Mendoza, Argentina) in 2005.

In addition, Lautaro Ferro participated of several post-graduate courses on insolvency and bankruptcy law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and he has authored some articles on matters of his expertise.

Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen is best known for representing lenders, creditors, bondholders and trustees in bankruptcy cases – although it also has experience in advising debtors and acquirers of distressed assets. Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen has notable expertise in contentious TMT matters. Recent contentious mandates saw Mariano Grondona represent Google before the Supreme Court in a high-profile case regarding internet service provider (ISP) liability. In addition, Lautaro Ferro advised MercadoLibre in another case concerning ISP liability, this one before the Court of Appeals. Luis Incera and Arnaldo Cisilino are also highly regarded for contentious work. In 2018, the group saw the departure of key name José Alfredo Martínez de Hoz Jr as well as partner Francisco Amallo, who both left for Martínez de Hoz & Rueda.

Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen is defending a major insurance company in six class actions brought by consumer protection associations concerning certain clauses in automobile insurance policies – corporate finance partner Diego Serrano Redonnet and litigator Lautaro Ferro jointly led that work. The team, which also has a strong background in transactional and regulatory matters, counts Aon, AIG and Metlife among its clients. Associate Lucila Guerrero is also noted. Sector specialist Maximiliano Batista6 left to join Martínez de Hoz & Rueda.
