Pedro advises foreign and Brazilian companies from various sectors, such as banking, construction, energy, entertainment, mining, oil & gas and telecommunications. He is also an expert in crisis management. His experience as a lawyer is also enhanced by his continued handling of disputes as arbitrator in Brazil and abroad. He is recognized by LACCA Approved, IFLR 1000, Global Competition Review and Who`s Who Legal as a recommended lawyer in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. His early career highlights include nearly two years experience as an international associate at a leading U.S. law firm in the International Practice Group, where he gained knowledge about international business transactions and information technology. He obtained his bachelors in law degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Lefosse Advogados has longstanding experience in high-profile domestic and international arbitration, offering legal assistance to clients from a range of industries, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, financial markets, energy and construction. Pedro Maciel, who has served as counsel and arbitrator in national and cross-border cases, spearheads the department, which has recently developed significant expertise in corporate and M&A disputes.
