Renata specializes in Brazilian corporate, banking and capital markets law. She has acted as leading counsel in a variety of complex cross-border and domestic transactions, including legal advice in structuring financial transactions, syndicated loans, project finance, corporate finance, acquisition finance, leverage finance, securitization transactions, investment funds, derivatives and commercial contracts in general, in both financial and capital markets. She has a large experience in matters involving financial regulation, credit card and payment industry, including establishment or acquisition in Brazil of financial institutions, broker houses, asset management and companies in the payment sector. She has significant experience in loan workouts and out-of-court restructurings in Brazil. Renata obtained her Bachelor Degree in Law from University of São Paulo (USP) Law School and her Master Degree in Banking and International Finance Law from IBMEC.
