Career

Renata is a partner in Banking and Finance at Lefosse.

She has extensive experience in Banking and Capital Markets in Brazil both in transactional and regulatory matters. Renata has advised issuers and coordinators on some of the most complex debt and securitization offerings in Brazil. Her experience also includes legal advice on M&A transactions in the financial and payments sector. This includes the US$5.6 billion acquisition of HSBC Brasil by Banco Bradesco, the credit card joint venture between Banco do Brasil and Cielo to the value of US$4.4 billion, the joint venture between UBS and Banco de Brasil for the investment banking and brokerage businesses. She has also worked on many other transactional and regulatory matters involving financial institutions, fintechs and payment institutions.

Renata has a degree in Law from USP (Universidade de São Paulo) and a Master’s in Banking Law and International Financial Law from IBMEC (Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais).
