Carlos is Lefosse Advogados’ Managing Partner and has acted as leading counsel on several of the most important equity deals in Brazil in the past years and has used his insight into listed corporates and their regulatory experience to develop a wider and successful practice covering M&A and private equity. He has been elected by IFLR1000 as one of the leading lawyers in Brazil and recognized by LACCA Approved as a lawyer recommended in Corporate/M&A and Banking by members of the renowned Latin American Corporate Counsel Association, linked to the Latin Lawyer group.
Prior to joining Lefosse Advogados, Carlos was partner at Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. & Quiroga and an associate at Milbank, Tweed Hadley & McCloy, in New York. Carlos obtained his Bachelor Degree from University of São Paulo, his Master Degree from Columbia University and was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 2002.
