Position

Chris is Managing Partner of McKees and is a partner in the dispute resolution team. While Chris’ main aim is to help clients avoid disputes where possible, he adopts a proactive approach when disputes do arise. He is skilled in running all forms of disputes including litigation, mediation and arbitration. Chris acts for a wide range of commercial clients in the insurance, construction, transport, finance and ICT sectors. He advises insurers on policy disputes, mis-selling of insurance policies and complex property claims. Recently, Chris has represented clients in respect of high-profile procurement challenges, defamation and intellectual property disputes. He is qualified to practice in both England and Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Chris is a former Chairman of the Belfast Solicitors’ Association.
