Position

Martin works within the firm's construction and property risk team and has 30 years’ experience in construction engineering and facilities management matters. Recent matters Martin has advised upon include Building Contracts on a Town Centre retail/cinema, housing/parking mixed use development, Catastrophic mechanical and electrical engineering failures, Defective construction and leaking roofs and loss and expense and payment disputes.

Martin is a recognised expert in the operation of PFI/PPP contracts, and regularly speaks at the Department of Health’s PFU forum. He sits as an adjudicator on CIArb, TeCSA and CPA panels and acts as a mediator and arbitrator. He has had cases reported on expert evidence, adjudication and enforcement; and speaks regularly on a wide range of construction matters.
