Position

Stephen has over 12 years’ experience advising on all aspects of personal tax, trust and will drafting and estate planning, applications to court to vary trusts under the VTA 1958, court applications to set aside sham trusts, advising Local Authorities in connection with care home fee avoidance structures, advising in connection with complex offshore structures and advising on information exchange agreements such as CRS, CDOT and FATCA.

Stephen also has expertise in advising on employee trusts and employer-financed retirement benefit schemes.  He is also a course tutor for the STEP Advanced Certificate in Taxation of Trusts and Estates.
