Career

Declan is the head of Browne Jacobson’s London office, is head of Corporates sector strategy and leads the firm’s Commercial group nationally. He has over twenty-five years of experience with intellectual property law and is widely renowned as an expert on trade marks. Declan advises some of the most recognisable names in British business including Mace, the National Trust, Aston Martin, PZ Cussons Beauty, and Iconic London.

Clients value Declan’s advice on how they can best protect and enforce their portfolio of brands nationally and globally. Having previously been European IP counsel for Molson Coors, he understands the variety of IP challenges that businesses face on a day-to-day basis. Declan maintains a particular interest in the retail sector and a variety of leading fashion brands turn to him for strategic branding advice.

Declan plays an important role in shaping Browne Jacobson’s ambitious plans for the future. He is head of the firm’s Corporates group, sits on the Board of Directors and recently became a founding partner of Browne Jacobson’s new Dublin base.
