Position
Chris specialises in acting for education sector clients on a wide range of property matters, academy conversions and the acquisition and disposal of school land. He has personally advised in relation to over 500 schools nationally on the property aspects of their conversion to academy status, as well as numerous rebrokerage projects, both freehold and leasehold. This includes dealing with shared use agreements, third party access, PFI, City Learning Centres, chance to share agreements and other issues affecting school sites. Chris has also been involved on the property aspects of BSF and PSBP projects.
Such is his reputation, Chris was headhunted by the Education and Skills Funding Agency for a 12-month secondment in 2013 to assist in the delivery of the property transactions required under the Free Schools, Studio Schools and UTC Programmes.
