Position
Neil Walker is a Legal Director in the Built Environment team of our Real Estate department, with over 25 years’ experience in advising a wide range of private and public sector body clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters
Neil’s primary focus is in advising a wide range of local authority clients (and their companies) on commercial property issues and he has particular expertise in leading, managing and advising on complex regeneration, infrastructure delivery and commercial/residential/mixed-use development matters, including forward funding of new-build projects, and he works closely with our construction, tax, planning and environmental, commercial and public law colleagues
He also advises local authorities on site assembly, acquisitions and disposals and on investment property transactions including portfolio acquisitions and provides lead real estate support to commercial colleagues on wider public sector projects including the outsourcing of leisure and social care services
Neil also present seminars and webinars and delivers internal and client training sessions.
