Pamela has significant experience in advising clients on wind and hydro energy developments and in the mineral extraction industry. She deals with the negotiation and settlement of contracts in relation to property commercial matters for the firm’s renewable energy, mining, and waste management clients.

She has regularly been involved in the negotiation of Section 75 agreements on behalf of local authorities, developers and landowners, including the negotiation of multiparty bonding arrangements in respect of restoration obligations. Historically, her experience of large contract negotiations together with her innovative use of information technology for data handling expertise led Pamela to be involved in housing projects for Dumfries and Galloway, City of Glasgow and Scottish Borders Councils and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

Recent deals that she has advised on include the acquisition of Cumberhead Wind Farm, the sale of Longhill Burn and Sorbie wind farms, the completion of funding arrangements for a suite of hydro schemes in Argyllshire and gold prospecting arrangements, also in Argyllshire.
