Gordon has over 30 years’ restructuring, corporate recovery and insolvency experience. He advises banks and other lending institutions, insolvency practitioners and directors in relation to strategies to resolve issues arising from companies in financial distress.

Gordon is also Head of International leading Harper Macleod’s international team, working with clients and law firms across the globe, and coordinates the South Africa and USA desks, as part of Harper Macleod’s international offering.

Gordon is a Law Society of Scotland accredited specialist in Insolvency Law.

He is also joint Journal Editor/Publications Officer for the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association (IBA).

Gordon was accredited as a commercial mediator by CEDR in 1994 and is also a member of the Law Society of Scotland Commercial Mediation Accreditation Panel.
