Position
Paul is a Consultant in the Corporate, Finance and Funds team. He advises on all elements of investment fund establishment, regulation and downstream transactional work. His clients include venture capital, private equity, real estate and hedge fund managers based in the key fund markets of London, New York and Asia with a fast-growing following in South Africa.
Always having taken a commercially-minded approach, in 2021 Paul moved to a consultancy role with the firm alongside an external position as founding partner of a venture capital firm. This brings unique and invaluable experience and perspective to the team in advising fund managers.
Career
Associate to Justice Reginald Barrett in the Supreme Court of New South Wales; graduate position finance and tax (investment funds) teams Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons), Sydney; Ogier 2006.
Paul joined Collas Crill in 2007, became a group partner in 2011 and head of the corporate team in 2014. During this time he has built a strong network of clients and collaborators and broadened the firm’s profile in the investment funds and corporate space.
