Position

Craig is an associate in the International Private Client and Trusts department in Jersey. He undertakes a range of both contentious and non-contentious private client instructions.

Career

Craig qualified in 2019, having trained at a large full service firm in Scotland since 2017. As part of his traineeship Craig completed seats in the corporate, pensions, tax and incentives and private client departments.

Craig has worked exclusively in the private client sector since 2019 and has gained extensive experience in wealth and succession planning for a variety of clients, focusing on the drafting of wills, powers of attorney and the incorporation and administration of trusts. Craig is experienced in the administration of estates, including complex and/or contentious executries.

After obtaining a BEng (Honours) degree in product design engineering in 2007, Craig worked as a police constable in Glasgow for nine years before gaining both his LLB law degree (with Merit) and his Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Collas Crill in 2021 having qualified as a solicitor in Scotland.
