David joined Carey Olsen in 2010, having trained and qualified as a solicitor in Scotland with Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP. He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow (LL.B; 2007) and the Glasgow Graduate School of Law (Dip. L.P., 2008). He is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey and also a member of the Law Society of Scotland (Solicitor; currently non-practising).

Carey Olsen handles a diverse range of top-level corporate work across sectors, including M&A deals, private equity transactions and JPUT deals concerning international real estate, as well as restructuring and complex and sensitive corporate governance matters. Practice head Guy Coltman is active in a range of mandates, including deals in the corporate services space and work in trading sectors including gaming. Alex Ohlsson‘s workload includes share deals and corporate work around elite London real estate, and James Willmott‘s work ranges from complex restructurings through to private equity deals.
