Natasha is a highly experienced litigator who has gained particular distinction in employment law related disputes. She has substantial advocacy experience before the English and Guernsey courts.
Since moving to Guernsey in 2014, Natasha has regularly been involved in substantial litigation arising from employment disputes, trusts, financial services’ business, serious fraud and regulatory matters. She acted both at first instance and on appeal in the Carlyle litigation – Guernsey’s largest trial to date and the leading authority on directors’ duties. Her other high-profile matters include high value breach of trust claims, complex, long-running hostile beneficiary disputes arising from Public Trustee and Cooper applications, applications for Beddoes relief and various financial crime cases.
Natasha’s clients include a wide range of financial institutions and fiduciaries, as well as high net worth individuals. She has also acted for leading banks, insurers and fiduciaries in relation to regulatory investigations and enforcement action undertaken by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Natasha is STEP qualified, a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and the Chancery Bar Association. She is the Guernsey case summaries editor of the Jersey and Guernsey Law Review and Chair of the Guernsey Housing Appeals Tribunal.
Natasha practised out of a leading set of barristers’ Chambers for over a decade. At the London Bar, her practice ranged from commercial and product liability disputes to public law and health and safety matters. She is a seasoned trial advocate and was regularly instructed in connection with High Court proceedings and both as sole and junior counsel in the English appellate courts.
Natasha moved to Guernsey in 2014 and worked for two other leading offshore firms before joining Carey Olsen in 2020.
Natasha is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey and an English barrister.
