International Trusts and Private Client

Partner in our London office.

I’m a Partner in our International Trusts & Private Client practice. Prior to joining Mourant Ozannes, I led the Trust and Private Client practice for Europe and the Middle East at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands.

I have 25 years’ experience advising trustees, beneficiaries, protectors, banks and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of trust and private client matters.

I have co-authored two books, Drafting Cayman Islands Trusts and Drafting British Virgin Islands Trusts. I was a Contributing Editor of the Journal of International Tax, Trust and Corporate Planning, 2010-2017, and was appointed as the International Correspondent for Private Client Business in 2018.

Mourant‘s London office specialises in BVI and Cayman Islands banking and finance, commercial disputes, and corporate and M&A matters, as well as international trusts and investment funds. Following the departures of former practice heads Robert Duggan to an in-house role and Chinyin Johnston to Linklaters‘ Singapore office, the key contacts in the London office include consultant Tony Pursall, a BVI and Cayman Islands trusts and private client specialist. The London team benefits greatly from the support of Alexandra Woodcock and John Rochester, who are based in the Cayman Islands and Guernsey, respectively, and senior associate Marianne Wilson in the BVI.
