Kate advises on all aspects of pensions law.

Kate’s clients typically include the trustees of small and medium sized occupational pension schemes whom she supports on a range of queries arising from the day-to-day administration of their schemes including the journey to buy-out and winding up.  Kate also advises employers in the voluntary and not for profit sectors, particularly in connection with the management of pension liabilities arising on incorporation, merger or other reorganisation, and the outsourcing of public sector services (where participation in a public sector pension scheme may be required).

Kate has a specialist interest in DC bulk transfers and is frequently instructed to advise on the transfer of DC assets to master trust schemes including prefunding agreements.

Kate is a partner and co-head of the pensions team.  She trained with international law firm, Baker McKenzie, joining its pensions team on qualification in 2004.  Kate subsequently relocated to Yorkshire and joined Wrigleys in 2017.
