Brodies LLP is the first port of call for numerous blue chips, investors, developers and contractors in large-scale projects and associated disputes. Practice co-head Louise Shiels specialises in contentious mandates, many of which have recently encompassed the healthcare and energy sectors, and is supported by Manus Quigg, an expert in construction insurance, as well as David Arnott and Christopher Duff, whose experience spans fire protection and cladding disputes. Fellow co-head Alistair Mclean heads up the firm’s non-contentious offering and has recently been involved in residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects, meanwhile Jane McMonagle‘s workload ranges from demolition and decommissioning projects to commercial office and social housing developments.
