Position

Rob conducts a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution for banks, building societies, life companies and other financial institutions. Additionally, he regularly participates in cross-discipline teams, adding contentious expertise to issues arising in the context of financial regulation, banking and business restructuring. His experience covers: fraud, asset tracing and recovery; secured and unsecured lending issues, including subrogation, limitation, misrepresentation, duress and undue influence; risk assessment and dispute prevention advice (eg arising from changes to lending criteria or business practices); pre-insolvency assessment and exit advice; professional indemnity claims; customer and account conduct claims; advisory and other duties arising in banking relationships; injunctions and disclosure orders; and institutions acting as trustees.

Qualified 1999; partner Gateley 2012 to date.

Education

He has higher rights of audience in the civil courts as a solicitor advocate.
