Career

Anna joined Ferbrache & Farrell as Counsel in July 2020 from a large offshore law firm where she worked for more than six years. She was Senior Associate with primary responsibility for UK residential property transactions.

She moved to Guernsey in 2013 from Dubai, U.A.E. Prior to moving to Dubai, Anna worked for 11 years for a reputable Hampshire based law firm. She read LLB Law in Southampton and was awarded the Sweet & Maxwell Prize for achievement, having secured the highest grade for her degree in her year. She went on to study her post graduate Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London and was subsequently admitted to the Law Society roll of solicitors in 2005.

Anna, a member of the Law Society who speaks English and Polish, deals with all aspects of security work for Private Offshore Banks and Individual Investors in Refinance of Property Portfolios. She also deals with all work relating to residential UK property, including investment buy-to-let property, new build developments, new lease work and work to rectify and extend old leases.

With some 20 years’ experience in the residential property field, Anna has a strong, established network of business contacts, intermediaries and clients and is well respected by other leading lawyers in her practice area.

Anna acts across the complexity spectrum for residential property sales and acquisitions, and she also focuses on the acquisition of land for residential development, and the financing or refinancing of individual properties and property portfolios, where she often acts for the Borrowers and the Lenders.

With her offshore clients, including high net worth and ultra-high net worth private individuals, investors and developers – both individuals and corporate entities and trust administrators – she works very closely with the Private Client and Corporate teams at Ferbrache & Farrell LLP.

Anna has a very well-established and comprehensive network of business contacts and clients, as well as strong links to a range of property agents and financial advisers both onshore and offshore.

She also regularly acts for trusts and companies, whether UK (with Guernsey links) or offshore structures and is always happy to guide those less experienced through the UK residential conveyancing process.

The personal service Anna offers is driven by her desire to get deals done and to ensure the best client experience.
