Jane Bennett is a highly experienced private client lawyer, with over 20 years specialising in vulnerable client law.  She was a partner in London City/Westminster law firms for several years prior to setting up JE Bennett Law in 2012. The firm specialises in Court of Protection law; professional deputyships, personal injury trusts; elderly client law and community care law.  The firm is dedicated to helping the vulnerable client and today has a team of around 30 hardworking specialists who share Jane’s passion for providing a caring, excellent and efficient personal service.

With comprehensive experience in handling financial and care/welfare matters under the Court of Protection, Jane has a significant number of disabled and/or vulnerable clients for whom she acts as financial deputy and professional trustee. She also advises lay deputies and trustees.

Jane is regularly asked to act as an expert witness in catastrophic injury and high value claims in relation to professional deputy and trustee matters.

JE Bennett Law has been ranked in The Legal 500 under Court of Protection since 2015. Jane has been included on the exclusive Hall of Fame list for the past 3 years. Jane is also ranked in Chmbers and is currently one (of 62) of the Office of the Public Guardian’s national panel of professional deputies having been appointed in 2015.
