Leanne has been a qualified solicitor since 2005. She leads a broad-range of serious and high-value injury cases including brain injuries, spinal injuries, pain disorders and amputation claims. These are cases which often require her to pursue long-term rehabilitation packages on behalf of clients who have suffered life-changing injuries. Leanne also has experience of supporting families who lose loved ones have been involved in fatal accidents.

Significant Cases

Amongst the successful cases Leanne has led was the securing of £320,000 compensation for a man who suffered a serious injury at work but then faced accusations from the business involved of making up the claim.

Her client fell and suffered a ‘massive rotator cuff tear’ of tendons and ligaments in his shoulder, causing a long-term injury which prevented him from continuing his job. This case went to court and the found in favour of the claimant.

Leanne also secured a substantial compensation package for a client who suffered life-changing injuries and was left unable to work when his left leg was trapped between two forklift trucks as a result of his employers’ negligence. The successful claim enabled my client to change his accommodation to single storey, which suited his new needs.

She also acted on behalf of a woman whose husband was killed in a car crash not long after they had married. He was the provider for his wife, who was a full-time mother, and their two children. A £262,000 damages settlement was secured, providing much needed long-term financial support.
