Deliya has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. Since qualifying in 2012 at Withers she has acted as principal associate on large breach of contract and fraud claims in the High Court, including Bank St Petersburg v Arkhangelsky, and on high-value LCIA and ICC arbitrations of shareholder and contractual disputes. The disputes she has worked on often include an international dimension. She has also worked on substantial bilateral investment treaty claims against Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic.
Deliya took a double First in Classics from Christ Church, University of Oxford. She came to the UK from the Soviet Union as a child but subsequently spent a number of years working and studying in Russia after university before returning to start her legal career in the UK. Deliya is bilingual in Russian and English.
