Work Department

GQ|Littler is the leading employment law firm for employers in the UK and Ireland. We offer risk-based advice and litigation services on employment, immigration, employee tax and incentives issues. We work globally as part of Littler, the world’s largest employment law firm with over 1,600 lawyers in 100 offices worldwide. Being part of Littler enables the firm to seamlessly provide high-quality advice and support across a wide range of international markets and benefit from cutting-edge technology, research and knowledge management resources.

Hannah specialises in complex, strategically-challenging employment tribunal litigation, most recently advising a long-running whistleblowing, sex discrimination, pregnancy and maternity discrimination, and victimisation claim which received significant press attention and which has been successfully appealed to the Employment Appeal Tribunal. With a growing High Court practice, Hannah has also been involved in numerous high-value confidential information and restrictive covenant matters, most recently advising on a complex team move with a potential multi-million-pound liability.

She also has an abundance of experience in advising employers on the full range of employee relations issues with an increasing international focus, including reorganisations, employee exits and severance packages, and disciplinary and grievance matters. Hannah is particularly interested in gender pay and equal pay within the workplace and the wider issues of diversity and inclusion faced by employers.

Hannah heads up the firm’s legal technology practice and is building the firm’s reputation as an innovator and market leader in this arena. The firm has been awarded the Legal Week Innovation Award for its new technology supported solutions for clients.

She also leads the firm’s knowhow and training capabilities, keeping clients and the team informed of legal developments, and is a co-founder of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Hannah trained at SJ Berwin (now King Wood Mallesons) and qualified in 2008. Prior to joining GQ|Littler in 2011, Hannah worked in-house at Barclays Bank plc, at niche employment law firm mpm legal LLP and at City firm SJ Berwin (now King Wood Mallesons) as a Corporate Finance Associate.
