Career
In May 2017, Caroline made the move to Fletchers Solicitors to manage a catastrophic caseload within their Serious Injury Team. Previously, she had worked at Serious Law LLP in Bolton – a specialist firm of catastrophic injury solicitors, for 20 years. It was during this time that she developed her expertise in dealing with cases involving serious injury. Caroline qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2006.
She is highly experienced with 22 years in the personal injury sector handling complicated liability and high value, complex cases. Caroline works closely with the Court of Protection Team, often representing clients who lack capacity and who require the services of a deputy. She regularly obtains multi-million pound settlements for her clients either by way of a lump sum settlement or PPO. Caroline develops close relationships with her clients, their families and their multi-disciplinary team. She has built relationships over the years with well-recognised experts and Leading Counsel across the country to ensure the best possible outcome for her client. She is passionate about client care. Caroline has won complicated, catastrophic injury cases at Trial. She has been recognised nationally again this year in the Legal 500 described as ‘a very tough litigator who has a knack of developing a real rapport with her clients.’ Caroline specialises in acting for clients who have suffered life-changing injuries. She is experienced in handling high value, complex matters for both adults and children. She acts solely for Claimants on cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, serious orthopaedic matters, chronic pain and fatalities. The majority of Caroline’s current cases arise from road traffic accidents but she also has extensive experience of EL/PL matters and CICA cases. |
