Guy specialises in high-value commercial litigation and civil fraud cases often with multi-jurisdictional aspects. His recent experience includes precedent setting cases in the Commercial Court, Chancery Court and Court of Appeal, as well as international arbitrations. Guy is a solicitor-advocate with Rights of Audience in the Higher Courts of England and Wales.

Guy also has significant experience in advising corporations and clients in respect of internal investigations and contentious regulatory matters. He has a critical understanding of the interplay between civil litigation, contentious regulatory investigations and criminal investigations and he has acted on matters involving the FLA, SFO the EC, the DOJ, FINRA and BaFIN amongst others.

Prior to joining Signature Litigation, Guy was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Whilst at Freshfields, Guy was seconded to the Litigation and Regulatory team of a major US bank and the Litigation team of a global bank. Guy also undertook secondments to the Firms’ offices in Milan, Berlin and Brussels.

Guy is a co-author of the 2019 UK section of Chambers Litigation Practice Guide. He has also published articles on Practical Law, Thomson Reuters Complinet and Open Access Government.
