He is known for his work for developer clients and for late-night licensing. He is also experienced in large events, having licensed Hyde Park and several other large venues, including Covent Garden Piazza. He is very familiar with the issues arising from licensing reform and sat on the influential DCMS advisory group. The practice ranges from shopping centres, development work, to high-profile operators, theatres and restaurants, both small and large. A substantial amount of work originates from within the London Boroughs, in particular Westminster. He is lauded by clients for the pragmatic commerciality of his advice, particularly in the context of a related property transaction.
