Sarah is a dual-qualified English and Australian* family lawyer. Sarah advises clients on a broad range of family law matters including financial disputes, the negotiating and drafting of nuptial and cohabitation agreements, child arrangements and international relocation. Sarah has extensive experience in assisting with and advising on complex financial disputes, including those with an international element. Sarah brings her knowledge and experience gained through working in private company and tax team in Australia to financial matters with company and corporate aspects. She works closely with corporate and tax experts to provide carefully structured and workable financial outcomes for clients.

Sarah is uniquely placed to assist clients with connections to or assets in Australia due to qualifying in a top-tier family law team prior to relocating to London. Sarah prides herself on giving her clients clear and concise advice and for finding creative solutions to move matters forward. She is experienced in assisting clients to reach negotiated outcomes both in financial matters and child arrangements and strives to reach agreements without the need for court intervention wherever possible. However, Sarah is also experienced in expertly guiding clients through the complexities of court proceedings if they are required.

Sarah is passionate about improving the financial remedies available to cohabitees on the breakdown of relationships. She is a member of Resolution’s Cohabitation Committee, a Committee that is working to reform the laws for cohabitants on the breakdown of relationships in England and Wales.
