Harriet has over 12 years’ experience advising on all aspects of fixed charge receiverships such as security reviews, exit strategy reports, appointment documentation, validation of appointments, reports on title, gaining possession, lease reports, day-to-day management matters, injunctions against and in favour of receivers and ultimately disposal of the asset. Harriet acts in respect of both commercial and residential property and at all levels of debt/volume/complexity. She has been described by a client partner as ‘a knight in shining armour of the receivership world’.
Market conditions over the recent years have meant Harriet now also regularly advises on all matters relating to the wider remit of real estate insolvency. Typical recent instructions include due diligence reviews of loan and security documents on debt purchase transactions, settlement agreements with borrowers and advising on the recovery against borrowers who have attempted to frustrate the recovery process in all manner of ways. Harriet provides practical commercial advice and develops excellent personal relationships with clients to ensure a thorough and friendly service.
