Michael has over 20 years’ experience in commercial and insurance law advising international organisations and insurers. Michael’s areas of expertise include procurement, commercial contracts, insurance, litigation risk, group actions, judicial review and policy claims and advising in tandem with many clients’ customers, government departments and NGOs.

In addition, Michael has developed niche specialisms in defending privately contracted secure environments including prisons, police support, immigration, border security and healthcare organisations. As well as lobbying extensively with key public and private interest groups for and on behalf of clients.
